This cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay (80%) and Savagnin from old vines 40-70 years old. This is not topped up in the bottle and a veil of flor grows on top of this wine giving it an oxidative, intentionally Sherry-like quality. Wildly complex with aromas of roasted walnuts all the while saline with minerals. In the Jura, this is the wine to have with a fine Comte.
